Savannah and Julius (and Pat) slept in Sunday morning and didn't get up to see their Easter basket bounty until almost noon. I know it's because they are still too young to really understand the Easter bunny was coming.
I went out early and hid 20 plastic eggs filled with candy and was worried the candy would melt before the kids had a chance to actually find the eggs.
But after they woke up and looked into their baskets, Pat took them outside to hunt eggs while I cooked Easter lunch. The last picture is Savannah's reaction after she realized there were no more eggs to collect.
A good time was had by all... and Savannah found 16 eggs to Julius' 4.
Next year I don't think she'll be so lucky...
