Motherhood

It's hard to believe a year has passed since Savannah came into the world... and so much has happened in the last year. We've moved across the country, lived in three different places and both taken on new jobs.
The two constants Pat and I've had are our love for each other and our wonderful Savannah. She has brought a new dynamic to our household and brightened our lives in many ways.
I can't remember my life without her or imagine her not being here in it. I know Pat would agree with me and that he feels the same way.
I've learned a lot about being a mom in the last year... it's a lot of work and not something for the faint at heart (and I'm just a year in). I now appreciate women who are single moms or the bread winners in their homes... and I'm grateful for my husband for taking care of us and enabling me to stay at home with Savannah.
Being Savannah's mommy is the best job I've had and one I cherish more than I can say.
