We leave next week (on July 4) for a vacation on Pawleys Island, S.C., and I'm trying to figure out exactly what we should be taking.
We've rented a condo that is fully furnished with all of the essentials, but I wonder exactly what that means... do I need a blender for my margaritas or a griddle in case Pat wants to make pancakes for breakfast?
If anyone has any ideas on what we should take to the beach, I would love to hear them... I know I need to pack toys and movies for the kids (and beach towels), but I'm clueless to anything I might need.

seems to me you could contact the renter for specifics???
BTW, have fun
Haha, i'm the opposite, I have a packing list in Excel I modify depending on what type of trip (beach, family, airplane, mountains). I divide it into sections - All, Husband, Me, Daughter. Then I have items under each one like 1 pair dress pants, bathing suits, underwear, sunblock, magazines, flip flops, ets.
Think of everything you might need and put it on the list.
Let me know how you like the area! We're looking for a beach trip in Sept along the SC coast (we're in Atlanta)
I have an award for you =)

Whenever we travel, I make a list of everything and anything. Off the top of my head, definitely sunblock, bathing suits, stroller, hats for the kids (if they wear them), floaties.
